## Description

Villa Grimaldi – Corporación Parque por la Paz is a Chilean organization that preserves and shares the history of the Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi memorial site in Peñalolén, Santiago. The site commemorates people who were detained, disappeared, and executed during Chile’s dictatorship, and presents the history of the former Cuartel Terranova detention center. Its grounds include memorial spaces such as the Wall of Names, the Rose Garden, the Tower, and the Hall of Memory.

The organization’s work spans museum interpretation, education, outreach, and programming. Visitors can arrange in-person visits and tours, explore a virtual visit, and use audioguides, including an English-language option. Its resources include an oral archive, documentary archive, library and CEDOC catalogue, podcasts, and audiovisual and editorial materials. The site also hosts commemorations, cultural activities, and educational initiatives, and publishes news about memory, human rights, and its programs. Corporación Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi receives funding from Chile’s National Cultural Heritage Service.
