About
Description
Volunteers in Medicine San Diego (VIM) is a free medical clinic that has been serving thousands in need since its establishment in 2003. The brand began when two physicians, Dr. Garrett Bradt and Dr.
Gresham Bayne, came together with the vision of establishing a free clinic in East County. Despite facing fundraising obstacles, they opened a temporary clinic in 2006 to provide healthcare services to patients without insurance. With the support of Chapel of the Valley parishioners and community members, VIM dedicated its modular clinic in September 2006.
Today, VIM San Diego continues to provide free medical care without any charges, bills, or insurance forms required. Throughout the years, VIM has expanded its services to include women's health screenings, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and more. With a growing team of dedicated volunteers, VIM has cared for over 20,000 patients and remains committed to ensuring that residents have access to healthcare services and support
