## Description

Associazione Vincere la Trombosi Federica Ambassador is an Italian organization dedicated to raising awareness of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism through prevention, information, and education. Founded by Federica Fedele after her experience surviving a bilateral pulmonary embolism linked to May-Thurner syndrome, the association shares patient experiences and helps people affected by thrombosis find support and pathways toward recovery. Its activities include educational content about symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as events promoting medical awareness and healthier habits. The association highlights movement and sport, balanced nutrition, and access to reliable medical information as important elements of prevention. It offers free screenings to members and invites healthcare professionals, facilities, and businesses to collaborate in its initiatives. Its annual #MarzoInGiallo campaign promotes thrombosis awareness and received international recognition as an outstanding event in 2021. Supporters can contribute through donations, membership, and purchases of solidarity products, including water bottles, surgical caps, and apparel-and-backpack kits. The organization also publishes news, interviews, videos, and a book by Federica Fedele.
