## Description

Violet Flame Studios is a video game and multimedia developer whose creative vision draws on Hermeticism, Gnosticism, spiritual alchemy, and other ancient mystical and magical traditions. The studio aims to create challenging, interactive, and immersive games that combine high-stakes entertainment with themes of personal and spiritual empowerment. Its narratives are inspired by teachings associated with ancient and modern mystery schools, bringing philosophical ideas into the video game medium through distinctive, engaging experiences.

The studio’s featured game, Ascension, is described as a competitive action, precision-platforming, maze-running, and escape-room experience. Set in the perilous Lost Labyrinth of Egypt, it follows Kybalion as he descends into a lucid nightmare and faces trials from cosmic forces in pursuit of the Ascension of his soul. Violet Flame Studios presents the game as both a demanding experience for hardcore players and a form of digital initiation, with gameplay intended to encourage metacognition. The studio also shares development updates through a dev log and provides a magic-focused blog, alongside community and support options.
