## Description

Virgin Money Foundation is a charitable organisation founded by Virgin Money in 2015 to support local people creating positive change in communities across the UK. Its mission is to help communities thrive and tackle digital exclusion, particularly where support is most needed. The Foundation provides grants and builds partnerships with community organisations, while Virgin Money colleagues have contributed through volunteering and collaboration. Its funded work includes digital skills workshops, access to devices and data, employability courses, advice services, and initiatives addressing poverty and social exclusion. Examples include support for Rosemount Lifelong Learning in North Glasgow, Govan Community Project, and the Shiney Advice and Resource Project. The Foundation also publishes information about its grants through 360Giving, reflecting its commitment to transparency and informed grantmaking. Following Virgin Money’s integration into Nationwide Group, the Foundation says its mission, grant programmes, partnerships, and dedicated team continue unchanged. It remains focused on helping communities develop skills, access services, and participate more fully in an increasingly digital world.
