Virgo Ventures, a technology incubator, has found its first truly green investment with Rakun. Rakun is a box-sharing community that enables its members to bring home their food from restaurants and order takeout in reusable stainless steel boxes. Its mission is to replace single-use, mostly compostable food containers with the Rakun food boxes that can be reused up to a thousand times.

With a 10 million forint investment, as well as technological and business incubation support, Virgo Ventures is helping Rakun expand its initiative by encouraging more food providers and consumers to join. This investment allows Virgo Ventures to fulfill its commitment to both technological and environmental sustainability.
