## Description

Its courses are designed to help therapists build their knowledge and support clients’ abilities through informed visual rehabilitation practice. The program has moved from on-site Part 1 and Part 2 workshops to online learning, allowing participants to access courses from home or the office at a convenient time. visABILITIES is led by Mary Warren, PhD, OT, SCLV, FAOTA, an occupational therapist and Associate Professor Emerita at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She developed UAB’s Graduate Certificate in Low Vision Rehabilitation and brings specialist experience to the educational offerings.

The brand also features the biVABA, or Brain Injury Assessment Battery for Adults. This practical assessment tool is intended to help therapists evaluate visual processing ability following adult brain injury quickly and reliably, producing useful information to guide their work with clients.
