## Description

Visible Hands is an early-stage investment platform focused on women, people of color, and other overlooked founders building high-growth startups. The organization invests before companies are widely recognized, supporting visionary entrepreneurs as they develop pre-seed and seed-stage businesses. Its portfolio includes more than 57 investments of $100,000 or more, and portfolio companies have collectively raised over $50 million, according to the information provided.

Alongside capital, Visible Hands offers tailored, practical support rather than a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Depending on each founder’s needs, this may include branding, sales coaching, or other assistance designed to help businesses gain momentum. Its founder programs include the 10-week, hybrid VHNYC Founder Fellowship for New York City entrepreneurs building technology and technology-enabled businesses, and the VHBOS Founder Fellowship for entrepreneurs reflecting Greater Boston’s racial and gender diversity. Visible Hands also works with corporate partners and draws on a broad founder network and grant partnerships. Through its investments, fellowships, and partnerships, the organization aims to help underrepresented founders build successful companies and expand access to opportunity.
