Vlaamse Erfgoedbibliotheken is a non-profit organization that supports institutions managing librarial heritage collections in Flanders and Brussels in executing their heritage functions. This includes the nine recognized heritage libraries, as well as over 160 other organizations that also manage library heritage. The organization is dedicated to making their website as accessible as possible and encourages users to report any issues to info@vlaamse-erfgoedbibliotheek.be. They offer a range of services, including activities, collections, news, agenda, documentation, conservation, and a digital quality label. Additionally, they organize the Heritage Library Consultation Platform, gathering professionals in the field to exchange knowledge and collaborate. They also hold events such as the Digitalization of Periodicals meeting and maintain a team of experts who work on various projects, including the preservation of endangered newspaper heritage.
