## Description

VLOGS.CAT is a Catalan-language platform that helps people discover YouTube channels and videos made in Catalan. It brings together creators, media outlets, and regularly updated video listings in a searchable directory, with the aim of making Catalan content easier to find and supporting the growth of Catalan YouTubers. The site covers a wide range of topics, reflected in its featured videos, including gaming, culture, books, travel, sport, and entertainment. It also provides community resources such as a Catalan Wordle, a writing corrector, and weather information, alongside guidance for creators who want to recommend a channel. Submissions are reviewed manually, and the platform’s admission rules require at least 90% of a channel’s video content to be in Catalan. VLOGS.CAT says it has operated for eight years as an official YouTube API client, using YouTube services to gather and display channel content. By promoting Catalan-language video and creators, the platform seeks to strengthen the visibility of the language and culture among audiences in Catalonia and beyond.
