# VNAs of Vermont - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `vnavt.org` ## Description VNAs of Vermont is a professional trade association representing local, independent, not-for-profit home health and hospice agencies across Vermont. Originally incorporated in 1971 as the Vermont Assembly of Home Health Agencies, the organization adopted its current name in 2014. Its eight member agencies serve people in every Vermont city and town, regardless of ability to pay, and collectively provide more than a million home visits each year. Through its members, the association connects Vermonters with a broad range of care and support at home. Services include nursing, speech, physical and occupational therapy, wound care, social work, home health aide and personal care assistance, hospice and person-centered end-of-life care. Member agencies also offer support for children and families, including services for mothers and babies, as well as help for people managing chronic illness and rehabilitation needs.
