## Description

The American Veteran Owned Business Association (aVOBa) is dedicated to empowering military veterans through entrepreneurship. Launched on Veterans Day 2008, the organization provides a comprehensive platform for veteran-owned businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs), boasting nearly 40,000 member companies.

By offering a national directory, aVOBa connects these businesses with potential customers, including government agencies and corporate purchasers seeking to support veteran enterprises. Members benefit from enhanced visibility, contributing to a robust community that honors and promotes businesses owned by veterans, reservists, and military spouses.

In addition to business listings, aVOBa provides discounts, job opportunities, and a wealth of resources tailored to veterans and their families. The organization’s commitment to supporting veteran entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in fostering economic independence and community growth across the United States.
