## Description

Vodojemy Žlutý kopec is a distinctive heritage attraction in Brno, operated by TIC BRNO. Beneath a grassy area in a revitalized park near the city centre lie three monumental underground water reservoirs, built in 1874, 1894 and 1917. Two are constructed of brick and one of concrete. Preserved in their original condition, the reservoirs are celebrated as remarkable examples of technical and industrial architecture, with an atmosphere often likened to that of ancient subterranean spaces.

Visitors can explore the site independently or join a guided tour, and tickets are available through the attraction’s website. The reservoirs also host cultural events and can be rented for occasions. Through VodojeMyArt, a project developed with artists from Brno, elsewhere in Czechia and abroad, the venue presents concerts, performances, visual shows and site-specific works. Its unusual acoustics and dramatic setting make each event a distinctive experience. Practical information, frequently asked questions and an events calendar help visitors plan a visit. Vodojemy Žlutý kopec offers an unusual way to discover Brno’s architectural and industrial heritage.
