## Description

Vogalonga is a celebration of Venice and its enchanting waterways, dedicated to preserving its cultural and natural heritage. This unique rowing event, held annually since its inception, invites people from around the world to journey through a scenic 30-kilometer route that traverses the picturesque lagoon, its islands, and the iconic Grand Canal. Participants, who can bring their own rowing boats regardless of size or number of rowers, unite in a non-competitive spirit to honor traditional rowing techniques and sustainable navigation practices. Scheduled for May 19, 2024, the 48th edition of Vogalonga is expected to draw over 8,000 rowers, embodying a passionate commitment to the beauty and culture of Venice. The event not only fosters camaraderie among participants but also serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of environmental conservation in one of the world's most beloved cities. Join Vogalonga and immerse yourself in the magic of Venice's waterways—where tradition meets celebration.
