## Description

The Federación Gallega de Voleibol (FGVB) is the governing body for volleyball in Galicia, Spain. Based in A Coruña, it supports and organizes the region’s volleyball community through competitions, athlete development, officiating, coaching, and federation services. Its competition program covers indoor volleyball and beach volleyball, including senior and youth categories, as well as other tournaments such as the Copa Federación and provincial events. The federation also coordinates Galician representative teams and provides information about clubs, fixtures, results, and disciplinary matters.

For referees and coaches, the FGVB offers training, documentation, and technical resources through its committees and schools. Its website provides access to rules, regulations, circulars, official forms, sports insurance information, and protocols addressing violence in sport. The organization also publishes news about the sport across Galicia and shares updates through its #VoleiGalego network and social media. Alongside these activities, the federation makes governance, financial, and organizational information available to the public, supporting transparency and participation in the development of volleyball throughout the region.
