## Description

Volter Labs is a Warsaw-based energy technology project focused on helping people get more from their solar installations through better forecasting and smarter energy management. Its tools combine physical modelling, satellite data and energy-market information to support practical decisions about when to use, store or export electricity.

Volcast, currently available, forecasts photovoltaic production using a physics-based engine and satellite data. It is designed to work without inverter passwords or unnecessary cloud services, helping users understand how much energy their system is likely to generate.

Volter, offered through early access, brings together live monitoring, electricity prices and automation. It connects with an inverter and the energy market, and supports integration with Home Assistant. Its intended role is to help coordinate actions such as charging an electric vehicle, running a heat pump or sending surplus power to the grid. Volter Labs also describes its approach as open, with users able to set their own rules. The project combines forecasting and automation to make solar energy easier to plan and use.
