## Description

Eine große Familie is an online genealogy service that helps people create and explore family trees on the internet. Members can build their own tree and invite relatives and friends to contribute, making it easier to share family information. The site also provides access to family trees created by other users, offering opportunities to discover connections and learn about ancestors across different families.

To support ongoing research, Eine große Familie includes automatic birthday reminders by email and notifications for saved searches. For example, users can be alerted when another member adds one of their ancestors. Visitors can browse names through an alphabetical index or use the quick-search feature, while account holders can sign in and recover a forgotten password. The website also offers sections for recent changes, abbreviations, special characters, help, information and news, and terms of use. Available language options include Danish, English, and Spanish. Overall, the service combines collaborative family-tree building with discovery and practical alerts to help users organize and follow their genealogical research.
