## Description

Vortex Jazz Club is a live music venue at 11 Gillett Square in London’s N16, presenting a varied programme of jazz performances and related events. Its calendar features established artists, emerging musicians, ensembles, big bands and regular jam sessions, with concerts spanning contemporary and traditional jazz projects. Audiences can browse upcoming and past events, check performance times and book tickets online. Ticket prices vary by event, with reduced rates available for Vortex members, students and people receiving Universal Credit; some sessions also offer free entry to members and participating musicians.

The club operates a mixed seated and standing space, with guaranteed seating for members and for customers who are unable to stand and notify the venue in advance. In addition to concerts, Vortex offers venue hire for parties, meetings and workshops, as well as facilities for rehearsals and recordings. The organisation also provides membership, volunteering and merchandise opportunities, shares news and music projects, and invites supporters to donate to the Mossman Fund, dedicated to founder David.
