However, they faced challenges in maintaining the low poly appearance when stretching the faceted image to fit the skybox.

They explored various solutions, including creating an enormous image, using a shader, or creating a faceted sky dome. Ultimately, they settled on creating a top half sphere object with high polygon count and applying noise to its vertex positions to achieve the desired faceted sky effect.
