## Description

The Voter Study Group, a research collaboration led by the Democracy Fund, brings together analysts and scholars from diverse political backgrounds to examine and deliver insights on the evolving views of American voters. As the 2016 presidential campaign unfolded, the need to understand voter decisions drove the formation of this group. By conducting primary research and analyzing data through various social and political lenses, the Voter Study Group aims to uncover the underlying values and beliefs guiding voter behavior. With research tools such as the VOTER Survey and Nationscape, the group provides in-depth exploration of people's beliefs and tracks changes over time. The reports generated convey individual authors' perspectives while being reviewed by members across the political spectrum. Through the contributions of leaders in various fields, the Voter Study Group seeks to help political leaders better respond to and connect with the needs of the electorate.
