## Description

Rapiscan Systems is a security technology company that manufactures VOTI detection systems and provides technical support for VOTI products through its global service organization. On December 22, 2022, its parent company, Rapiscan Holdings, acquired substantially all assets of VOTI Inc. and VOTI Detection Inc. through a bankruptcy process. Rapiscan Holdings did not assume VOTI’s contractual or warranty obligations. Rapiscan Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rapiscan Holdings, now manufactures VOTI systems, while Rapiscan’s service team handles technical support and parts-related inquiries.

VOTI systems had more than 3,500 fielded installations and highly satisfied customers, according to the company. Rapiscan says its global service organization includes more than 350 service professionals and aims to provide a strong customer experience while supporting the transition. Customers seeking VOTI assistance can contact Rapiscan’s call center by email or telephone, using the dedicated VOTI support option. The company acknowledges that transition challenges may arise and says it will work to address issues as quickly as possible.
