VSGk | Merelbeke is a brand that represents the Veterinary Study Association of Small Animals at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University. Established in 2016, our main objective is to organize informative lectures and engaging activities focused on small animals, complementing the academic curriculum. We strive to address practical aspects of veterinary medicine, ensuring that our events provide valuable insights for both students and faculty members. As a member of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, you have access to our activities, which are also open to all students and staff members. We work closely with other study associations within the faculty, including VSGp (horses), VSGh (ruminants), VSDW (wildlife), and student association VDK (Flemish Veterinary Circle). With support from esteemed professors at Ghent University, our activities are made possible by our main sponsor, Zoetis, and our second sponsor, Hill's Pet Nutrition.
