## Description

Virtual Terrain Project is a brand that was active from 2001 to 2013. Their aim was to create tools for easily constructing any part of the real world in interactive, 3D digital form. To achieve this, they merged various fields such as CAD, GIS, visual simulation, surveying, and remote sensing. They provided a set of software tools, including an interactive runtime environment called VTP Enviro, which is available for free download. This brand helped numerous companies and students incorporate real-time 3D terrain into their products, research, and education. Although the subject pages on their website may be outdated, they still contain valuable educational information. Virtual Terrain Project also offered commercial services, such as commercial building data and location-specific GIS solutions. Their goal was to promote data openness and facilitate the adoption and development of necessary technologies.
