## Description

Fight for Kids Foundation (FKF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Winooski, Vermont, focused on helping young people build healthy, confident futures. Its holistic approach supports physical, mental, and emotional well-being through physical training, meditation, proper nutrition, and one-on-one guidance. Programs begin in the boxing ring, where youth develop strength and resilience, and continue through conversations about social pressures, real-life situations, critical thinking, and taking responsibility for their choices. FKF also promotes community connection through special events and funds or creates projects that benefit local youth and the wider community.

A central initiative is the Winooski Youth Center, a project at the former Centerpoint School on 94 W Canal Street. Renovations are underway to create a larger space for classroom and group-based programming. The center’s listed activities include weekday hours, monthly movie nights, Sunday dinners, and a weekly “Mommy & Me” gathering that welcomes dads. FKF invites community members to support its work through donations, monthly giving, supplies, volunteering, and participation in its projects and fundraising efforts.
