## Description

Vermont Oxford Network (VON) is a nonprofit collaboration of more than 1,400 hospitals dedicated to improving neonatal care around the world. It brings together a multidisciplinary community of healthcare teams to share knowledge, compare outcomes, and support lasting improvements in care for newborns and their families.

VON provides data and reporting through four databases covering very low birth weight infants, all patients cared for in neonatal intensive care units, follow-up for extremely low birth weight infants, and infants treated in resource-limited settings. As a neutral, independent organization, it offers benchmarking data that helps centers and groups identify opportunities to improve.

Its quality improvement programs and collaboratives connect teams through evidence-based toolkits, tailored measurement and reporting, online education, and discussion. Other offerings include Project Warm Welcome, VON Commons, Grand Rounds, QI Foundations, health equity resources, publications, and practical tools such as manuals, forms, and calculators. VON also hosts a Quality Congress where members can learn and share.
