## Description

The Finnish Political Science Association, founded in 1935, aims to advance political science research and promote interest in political issues within Finland. The association actively participates in international scholarly collaborations, underpinning its commitment to the global academic community. Notable offerings include the peer-reviewed journal "Politiikka," the online publication "Politiikasta," and the esteemed "Pro et Contra" book series, all of which contribute significantly to political discourse.

The association also organizes impactful events, such as the annual "Politics Research Days," all designed to foster networking among emerging scholars through initiatives like the Early Scholars Network. As a member of both the International Political Science Association (IPSA) and Nordic Political Science Association (NoPSA), the association remains influential in shaping the landscape of political research. Through digitization efforts, it has made past publications publicly accessible, ensuring wide dissemination of knowledge. Overall, the Finnish Political Science Association stands as a critical hub for political scholarship, discourse, and community engagement in Finland.
