## Description

RILSA, or the Research Institute for Labor and Social Affairs, has been at the forefront of independent research for over a century, aiming to foster positive societal changes. Based in Prague, RILSA’s primary client is the Czech Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, to which it provides valuable insights and data applicable in public and social policy arenas. The institute specializes in various fields, including macroeconomic development, labor market analysis, and family policy, continuously pushing the boundaries of knowledge to inform practical applications. RILSA disseminates its findings through publications, annual reports, and a dedicated library, promoting accessibility to information and research on significant social issues. Recently, it has gained attention through projects addressing the socio-economic status of marginalized groups, such as the Roma community, and has participated in international forums to discuss pressing economic matters. Furthermore, RILSA engages with the public by participating in festivals and media discussions, solidifying its role as a pivotal entity in social science research in the Czech Republic and beyond.
