Welcome to Vasai Virar Mayor's Marathon (VVMCM), one of India's premier national-level running events. Established in 2011, VVMCM has grown into a highly anticipated marathon, offering the highest prize money for both professional and amateur Indian athletes. With its stunning scenic beauty in Vasai-Virar, strategically placed cheering zones, and top-notch facilities, VVMCM promises an unforgettable running experience. Organized by Aryanz Sports PR and Events in association with the Vasai-Virar City Municipal Corporation, VVMCM has gained recognition from the Athletic Federation of India (AFI) since 2012. The marathon features four timed categories: Full Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.097km), 11km Open Run, 5km Open Run, and Dhamaal Dhaav (4km). Additionally, running groups can compete in the Battle Run, with attractive prize money up for grabs. Over the years, VVMCM has witnessed exponential growth in participation, with over 20,000 runners across various categories. The event offers a staggering prize money pool of over Rs 54 Lacs, including a separate fund for participants from the Vasai-Virar Taluka region. VVMCM has also been graced by esteemed personalities, from sporting legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Dhanraj Pillay to Bollywood celebrities like Riteish Deshmukh and Mahima Choudhary.
