## Description

Van Wert County Outdoorsmen Association, Inc. is a community-based organization in Middle Point, Ohio, with more than 50 years of service. It was established to promote firearm safety and educate future generations of hunters and sportsmen. The association provides members with opportunities to participate in hunting, fishing, and organized rifle, shotgun, pistol, and revolver shooting, while encouraging safe firearm handling, marksmanship, and responsible outdoor recreation.

Its objectives also include promoting hunter safety, supporting wildlife conservation and management, improving access to hunting and fishing opportunities, and strengthening cooperation between landowners and hunters. The organization encourages good sportsmanship and respect for local, state, and federal fish and game laws. It also fosters values such as honesty, self-discipline, teamwork, and self-reliance, and cooperates with organizations that share its goals.

The association is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, and NRA membership is required to join. Members are also encouraged to take part in club activities and attend scheduled meetings.
