## Description

Waag Futurelab is a pioneer at the intersection of science, technology, and art, operating for 25 years. They offer various services and products, such as the BioHack Academy, which provides a foundation in biotechnology, biomaterials, and lab equipment construction. Their Open Design Lab presents the S+T+ARTS Prize, focusing on the fusion of art and science for the future. Waag is also committed to societal change, as exemplified by the Smart Citizens Lab, addressing the pitfalls of market-driven policies. The organization further offers workshops and events, including a Future Heritage Lab workshop on cutting, drawing, and heat pressing. Waag's mission revolves around contributing to a sustainable and just society, by questioning cultural assumptions through technology exploration, designing alternatives based on public values, and co-creating an open, fair, and inclusive future with the community. Located in Amsterdam, Waag Futurelab invites individuals to engage through various channels, including their newsletter, allowing participation in their vision for a better tomorrow.
