## Description

The World Animal Biosecurity Association (WABA) is an international association of specialists working to advance animal biosecurity. Bringing together more than 1,000 members across over 90 countries, it provides a global forum for experts, decision-makers and other stakeholders to share knowledge and collaborate. WABA’s mission is to promote the creation and transfer of knowledge, advance the science and practice of infectious disease prevention and control, and support sustainable animal, environmental and public health.

The association’s activities include developing international biosecurity standards, maintaining a repository of biosecurity information and supporting training programs. Its website offers a knowledge base, biosecurity resources, publications, news and details about membership.
