## Description

Stichting Wanroijs Actie Comité (WAC) is a community-focused foundation serving residents of Wanroij and Landhorst. Active since the 1960s, it organizes activities for people of all ages and helps bring local communities together through seasonal celebrations, family events, and shared experiences. Its program includes the annual Kinder-Vakantie-Pretdagen, a multi-day holiday event for children, as well as Halloween activities, Sinterklaas celebrations, and Koningsdag cycling tours. WAC also presents Wanroijs Music Weekend and has introduced events such as Happen en Stappen. The organization shares practical information, activity updates, routes, and photo albums on its website, helping residents stay informed and revisit community occasions. Alongside its own events, WAC’s calendar highlights activities organized by local clubs and associations, making the site a useful guide to what is happening in the area. Based in Wanroij, the foundation supports local participation and offers a varied calendar designed to engage children, families, and the wider community throughout the year.
