## Description

Wachusett Travel Basketball is a private, nonprofit youth sports program serving boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 who live in or attend school in the Wachusett Regional School District. Bringing together players from Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, and Sterling, the program offers competitive, organized basketball in the Central Mass Youth Basketball League (CMYBL). Its winter season runs from December to early March, with games typically held on Sundays and home games played at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden.

Players join select teams through seasonal tryouts; participation is not guaranteed, and players must try out each season. Depending on interest and resources, the program may field one or two teams per grade. The season fee is $390 per player, with uniforms purchased separately. Coaches are experienced volunteers who undergo Massachusetts CORI checks and receive annual training and feedback.

Beyond league play, Wachusett Travel Basketball shares information about local skill camps and clinics, including opportunities for grades 3 through 9.
