## Description

Wah Nam Martial Arts is a kung fu and self-defence school in Sydney, Australia, founded in 1992. The school presents its training as practical and effective, with instruction in Pak Mei, Dragon (Lung Ying) and Jow Gar styles. Its website features Sigung Andy Truong and Sifu Brett Adlard, alongside information about the styles, their histories, media, frequently asked questions and batch releases.

Wah Nam describes kung fu as a way to develop useful self-defence skills while supporting broader physical and mental wellbeing. The benefits highlighted include increased bone density and muscle strength, stronger and more mobile joints, improved cardiovascular health, better balance and posture, greater body awareness, stress relief and longevity. The school also shares historical information about Jow Gar, tracing its lineage to Grandmaster Lau Fu, who established the first Chow family martial arts hall in Vietnam in 1938 and later taught military personnel during the Vietnam War. Wah Nam Martial Arts offers a focused setting for people interested in traditional Chinese martial arts and practical training.
