## Description

The Young Full-Time Employee Challenge Program, also known as TOKYO Internship UP to 29, is a Tokyo-based employment support initiative for people aged 29 and under who want to become regular employees. Commissioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for Employment Services, it is operated by Persol Business Process Design Co., Ltd. The program offers free, personalized job-search support, including counseling, interview and selection preparation, seminars, and workplace internships at participating companies committed to supporting young job seekers. By letting participants experience a workplace before accepting a role, the program aims to help them find a suitable employer and reduce mismatches after starting work. Participants can also attend company information sessions and receive guidance on careers and job-search topics. Eligible participants may receive a subsidy of 5,000 yen per day after completing an internship, up to 100,000 yen, subject to requirements. The program is designed to provide close support throughout the process, from initial consultation and practical work experience to pursuing full-time employment.
