Walama Restoration Project, founded in 2001, is a community-organized non-profit dedicated to environmental stewardship and biological diversity through education and habitat restoration. Their mission is two-fold: to promote conservation and protection of natural resources and biological diversity, as well as to implement experiential programs that raise awareness and rehabilitate habitats for local youth and community members.
