## Description

Wal Basses is an English maker of high-quality bass guitars, with almost 40 years of experience building instruments by hand. Based in a purpose-built workshop in the Surrey Hills, just outside London, the company combines traditional handcrafting techniques with carefully selected materials. It sources high-quality timbers from around the world and makes its own pickups, preamps, bridges, and other hardware, giving close attention to detail throughout the process.

Wal’s focus is on producing basses that are exceptionally well made and comfortable to play. The brand’s website presents its instrument models, components, and timbers, alongside a gallery of its work and information about the company. Customers can contact Wal with questions or get in touch to discuss an order.

The company also shares updates through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In addition to its work making bass guitars, Wal encourages visitors to support brain tumour research, reflecting a personal connection to the cause.
