## Description

Walcombe Bay Company publishes Tales of Walcombe, a series of children’s picture books and e-books set in the fictional British seaside town of Walcombe. Written by Mark Horsburgh and illustrated by Caroline Appleyard, the stories follow Seymour, a friendly ferry, and his harbour companions through gentle adventures inspired by coastal life, science and the natural world. Designed for children aged 3–10, the books are intended to be read aloud by an adult, with details to entertain grown-ups too. The seven-title series is available as paperback and e-book editions worldwide through Amazon and Ingram Spark; bookshops and libraries can also order titles through Ingram Spark. The stories introduce characters including lifeboats, dolphins, a seal and a sea-paddling tractor, and explore themes such as recycling, cooperation and caring for others. Walcombe Bay Company also offers free downloadable activities, including colouring pages and word searches, as well as read-along audio recordings for selected books. Schools, nurseries and libraries can contact the company about orders, bulk purchases or signed copies.
