## Description

Walden Recruiting is a Boston-based recruiting agency focused on helping technology startups build their teams. Founded in 2008, the firm says it has served more than 185 Boston-area startups and specializes in technical recruitment, while also connecting companies with software and marketing candidates. Its services include startup-focused hiring support, tailored recruitment solutions, and candidate sourcing designed to match a company’s culture and values.

The agency describes its process as primarily referral-driven. It draws recommendations from a network of former candidates and satisfied clients, many with experience at established Boston startups. This approach is intended to give employers access to qualified professionals whose skills can support business growth and help teams meet their goals. Walden also uses creative recruitment strategies to identify candidates beyond its referral network.

The company is led by founder and president Marsh Sutherland, who is reported to have more than 29,000 LinkedIn connections. Walden Recruiting invites startups seeking to expand their teams to contact the agency for recruiting assistance.
