## Description

Walking With Grace House is a nonprofit organization working to create an inclusive, supportive community for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Its goal is to provide families with peace of mind by developing an alternative home setting where adults can receive care and support as their needs change throughout life.

The organization envisions a community with residential apartments or rooms, collaborative spaces for day programs, and different levels of care. These are described as part of its hoped-for future, rather than as services already confirmed to be available. Its work is inspired in part by the experience of Grace and her family as they prepare for the transition from high school into adult life.

Community members can support Walking With Grace House through donations and by purchasing a fundraising shirt. The organization also promotes a bourbon raffle, with donations supporting its cause and serving as entries. Through these fundraising efforts and community involvement, Walking With Grace House aims to help build a place where adults with disabilities can find housing, care, and a welcoming home community.
