## Description

Wallingford & District Art Club (WADAC) is a friendly community art club that has encouraged creativity in and around Wallingford since 1979. It welcomes people interested in drawing, painting and craft, with opportunities to explore different subjects and media in a supportive setting. The club offers tutored art classes on Tuesday mornings and afternoons for members seeking structured guidance, alongside relaxed, self-guided group painting sessions on Tuesday evenings. Monthly live demonstrations by professional artists take place in person or by Zoom, sharing techniques and approaches to making art. WADAC’s programme also includes workshops, club exhibitions and outings throughout the year, giving members varied ways to learn, create and connect. Classes, group sessions and demonstrations are held at Centre 70 on Kinecroft in Wallingford. The club showcases members’ work in a gallery featuring subjects such as landscapes, portraits, animals, still life and abstract art. New members are welcome, and the club also provides a newsletter with information about upcoming demonstrations and events.
