## Description

Waltham Youth Hockey is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting the growth and development of hockey in Waltham and surrounding communities. Established in 1972, it is a member of USA Hockey and Massachusetts Hockey and provides programs for players across a range of ages and experience levels.

Its offerings include Learn to Skate for Tykes, Learn to Play for in-house Mites, travel hockey, and dedicated girls’ programs. Teams serve age groups from U8 through U19, with options including in-house and travel hockey, goalie resources, and half-season programs for some older players. The organization also offers skills development, including Robby Glantz Power Skating clinics, which focus on improving skating stride, edge use, speed, agility, and efficiency.

Waltham Youth Hockey supports its community through coaching resources, parent information, and programs such as Shinny Nights, which provide a relaxed, non-contact setting for players to enjoy the game. The organization also highlights player achievements and hosts activities that bring teams and families together throughout the season.
