Women At Risk, International (WAR, Int’l) is a brand that is dedicated to empowering and protecting women who are at risk. Through their culturally sensitive and value-added intervention projects, Women At Risk unites and educates to create circles of protection around those who are vulnerable. The history of Women At Risk dates back to the childhood of President and Founder Rebecca McDonald, who was deeply impacted by witnessing a horrific act of violence against a young girl.

This event spurred Becky on a lifelong mission to speak out for the oppressed and provide havens of healing for the wounded. They offer a wide range of programs and services, including vocational training, micro enterprises, education, orphanages, outreach, medical aid, and emergency intervention. In addition, they have safehouses both domestically and internationally.

To support their initiatives, Women At Risk sells handcrafted jewelry and accessories made by at-risk women, giving them an opportunity to showcase their skills while creating economic opportunities. With nearly 200 projects and programs in over fifty countries, Women At Risk continues to expand its reach in empowering those in need and creating circles of protection and hope around them
