## Description

Warlike is a military-history research and discovery website that helps visitors explore connections among fortifications, battles, museums, ships, vehicles, aircraft, weapons, organisations and related places. Part of the Expounder family of websites, it is designed for both in-depth research and practical trip planning. Visitors can browse military sites and objects, explore vessel and weapon classes, and search by country, state, historical partition or organisation. Pages bring together descriptions, maps, photo albums, timelines, heritage resources and links to other websites, supported by filters and targeted searches.

Rather than relying on extensive original content, Warlike uses Wikidata as a backbone to present information from Wikipedia and Wikimedia and connect users with external resources. Its examples link locations and artefacts to their historical context, such as castles, dockyards, naval vessels, weapons and operations. The site is an ongoing project, and its creators welcome suggestions for improvements, additional data sources and new ways to display information. Warlike offers an approachable way to navigate military history and discover related sites, objects and events.
