## Description

Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) is a charity based in Malvern, caring for unwanted and mistreated animals. Its work focuses on giving dogs and cats the care and support they need while seeking suitable new homes. Through its adoption service, WARS helps people find pets ready to join a family and provides information about the adoption process and available animals.

For pets that need a temporary place to stay, the shelter also invites people to foster dogs or cats while permanent homes are found. WARS supports pet owners and animal welfare through advice on behaviour, seasonal care, microchipping and neutering, as well as information about rehoming a pet. The organisation offers several ways for the public to contribute, including volunteering, corporate volunteering, work experience, donations, membership, fundraising, and sponsorship of kennels or the cattery. Supporters can also take part in shelter events, use the Coppice Dog Play Area and community room, or browse the shelter’s shop.
