Welcome to Wasabi Sushi & Izakaya, where culinary excellence meets innovation. Founded by Jun, an accomplished chef with a passion for food, Wasabi has become a staple in the Greater Seattle Area since its grand opening in 2000. Jun's journey began in South Korea, where he honed his skills and developed a love for Japanese cuisine.
He then immigrated to the US, where he trained under the guidance of Tadashi Sato, a renowned Japanese chef. With Sato's mentorship, Jun mastered the art of Japanese cooking, becoming the first non-Japanese manager at I Love Sushi. Inspired by his experiences and eager to showcase his culinary prowess, Jun opened Wasabi at the tender age of 29.
His mantra, I make sushi for every guest as if I were making it for my own son, permeates every dish served at Wasabi. Guests are treated like family, experiencing not only exceptional cuisine but also a warm and inviting atmosphere. With a diverse menu featuring sushi, rolls, appetizers, entrees, and more, there is something to delight every palate.
