Welcome to the Washington Airports Task Force (WATF), a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the growth and improvement of aviation services in Virginia and the National Capital Region. As the only organization with a mission to support the Virginia airports and its users, including passenger and cargo airlines, corporate and general aviation, and more, WATF plays a crucial role in the success of airport operations. With a 55-member Board of Directors and a dedicated staff of professionals with expertise in airport operations, community development, and marketing, WATF is committed to positioning Washington Dulles International Airport (Dulles) for continued growth while sustaining its achievements. In addition, WATF supports Reagan National Airport (National) during these changing times in the air transportation industry. WATF administers Foreign Trade Zone #137, benefiting businesses located on U.S. Furthermore, WATF serves as a convening force for consumer, civic, and economic interests, recognizing that the growth of our region, Northern Virginia, and Virginia is directly tied to the success of our airports. Join us for the 11th Annual Dulles Airport 5K/10K on the Runway! This exciting event, taking place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, offers a one-of-a-kind race experience on the flattest, fastest course in the area—right on an actual Dulles runway. Limited to 2,500 participants, the race is filling up quickly, so make sure to register today. Proceeds from the event will support the Committee for Dulles Community Outreach – Dulles Airport Scholarship Program, Special Olympics Virginia, and the Washington Airports Task Force. Washington Airports—dedicated to promoting the expansion and enhancement of aviation services for Virginia and the National Capital region.
