Washington STEM is an independent nonprofit organization that consists of a network of skilled and respected experts in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Our primary goal is to identify and promote innovative STEM programs and partnerships. We focus on various areas, including career pathways, early learning, data and measurement, K-12 STEM education, and advocacy.

By collaborating with lawmakers, we strive to address major STEM education issues and encourage the adoption of effective solutions for computer science and career-connected learning. One of our notable initiatives is the Notable Women in STEM Project, which showcases the stories of exceptional women in STEM to inspire middle school students. Additionally, we bring educators, business leaders, and STEM professionals together through our regional STEM Networks to enhance student success and connect them with career opportunities.

Our approach revolves around partnership, direct support, and advocacy to create lasting, equitable change in Washington. With a focus on removing barriers to STEM education and postsecondary credentials, we strive to ensure that all students have equal opportunities to access the transformative possibilities of STEM
