## Description

Washington Walks helps locals and visitors discover Washington, D.C., through guided experiences focused on the city’s history, neighborhoods, landmarks, and changing character. Its public walking tours cover subjects including African American history, Georgetown, the National Mall, neighborhood stories, urban nature, and the evolving city. The schedule also features themed outings such as a Rock Creek Park hike, a tour exploring the March on Washington, and seasonal holiday strolls.

For families, small groups, and organizations, Washington Walks offers private tours that can be planned around participants’ interests. The company also hosts virtual experiences for people who cannot attend in person. These online events are presented on Zoom by founder Carolyn Crouch and explore topics connected to Washington and its history.

Washington Walks presents its tours as an engaging way to learn more about the capital while experiencing it firsthand, whether on city streets, in a park, or online. Visitors can browse upcoming tours, book experiences, and sign up for updates about new walks and other happenings.
