The Niedersächsisches Wasserstoff-Netzwerk (NWN) is a network that supports and advises the Niedersächsische Landesregierung (Lower Saxony State Government) as well as companies in the hydrogen industry. As Lower Saxony aims to play a central role in the European hydrogen economy, the NWN assists and advises actors in the hydrogen industry from politics, industry, and science. The NWN is led by the Klimaschutz- und Energieagentur Niedersachsen (KEAN) and supported by partner organizations DGB and UVN, along with collaborations with the Innovationszentrum Niedersachsen, Energie-Forschungszentrum Niedersachsen, regional networks, and Invest in Niedersachsen.

The NWN focuses on activities such as the implementation of hydrogen projects, funding for innovative ideas, qualification programs, and hosting events. With their strong network and expertise, they provide a platform for various stakeholders to realize the potential of hydrogen as a key factor in energy security and the supply of neighboring countries
